1. Legal notice and owner information
In accordance with Spanish Law 34/2002 on Information Society Services (LSSI-CE), the details of the owner of this website are:

Use of this site implies acceptance of these terms. The content, text, images and logo belong to JSL or are used with permission and may not be reproduced without consent. JSL strives to keep the information accurate and up to date but does not guarantee it is error-free; savings estimates, prices and grants are indicative and non-binding.
2. Privacy policy (GDPR)

What data do we process and why? We process the data you voluntarily provide via the contact form (name, email, phone, message and language) or when you contact us by email, phone or WhatsApp. The purpose is to handle your enquiry, prepare the requested quote and, where applicable, manage grants. No automated decisions or profiling are made.
Legal basis: your consent and pre-contractual measures taken at your request (Art. 6.1.a and 6.1.b GDPR). You may withdraw your consent at any time by writing to info@jslmallorca.com; withdrawing it does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before (Art. 7.3 GDPR).
Recipients and processors: the contact form is processed through the Web3Forms service, which receives the message and forwards it to our email; it acts as a data processor. If you write to us via WhatsApp, that processing is also governed by Meta Platforms' terms. The videos embedded on some pages are served by YouTube (Google), as explained in the cookie policy. We do not sell or share your data with third parties except where legally required.
Retention: we keep your data for as long as needed to handle your request and thereafter for the applicable legal periods (tax and commercial). Once no longer needed, it is deleted.
Your rights: you may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability by writing to info@jslmallorca.com, stating the right you wish to exercise. If you believe your request has not been properly handled, you may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD), www.aepd.es.
Job applications and CVs
If you send us your CV through the Work with us page or by email, this is what we do with it:

Purpose: to manage your application in our recruitment processes. No automated decisions or profiling are made.
Legal basis: pre-contractual measures taken at your request (Art. 6.1.b GDPR) and your consent when you send us your CV (Art. 6.1.a GDPR). You may withdraw your consent at any time by writing to info@jslmallorca.com; withdrawing it does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before (Art. 7.3 GDPR).
Recipients and processors: we do not share your CV with anyone. The form is received by our own website server, hosted on Cloudflare, which forwards it to our mailbox with the file attached through its Email Routing service; Cloudflare acts as a data processor.
Retention: for as long as the recruitment process lasts and, if you are not selected, for a maximum of one year so we can consider you for future vacancies, unless you ask us to delete it earlier. After that period, it is deleted.
Data we do not ask for: we do not need health data or any other special categories of data (ethnic origin, religion, trade union membership…). Please do not include them in your CV.
Your rights: you may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability by writing to info@jslmallorca.com. If you believe your request has not been properly handled, you may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD), www.aepd.es.
3. Cookie policy
This website does not use tracking, advertising or analytics cookies of its own. The language (ES/EN/DE) is part of each page's address; the site does not store it in your browser.
Some pages include videos from our YouTube channel, embedded in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). When the player loads, your browser connects to the servers of YouTube (Google), which provides that service under its own terms and privacy policy; according to YouTube, in this mode what you watch is not used to personalise your YouTube experience or the ads you see.
To understand how the site is used we rely on Cloudflare Web Analytics, an aggregated, anonymous metrics tool that uses no cookies, does not identify visitors and does not follow you across other websites.
The site's fonts (General Sans and Switzer) are self-hosted on our own server; they are not loaded from external providers, so your IP address is not shared with any third party to serve the fonts.
4. Applicable law
These terms are governed by Spanish law. For any dispute, and unless consumer regulations provide otherwise, the parties submit to the courts of Palma de Mallorca.
