No paperwork for you
Renewables come with grants. With your authorisation, we take care of filing and justifying them; you sign the application and the grant is paid into your bank account.
The FOTOPAR 2026 call for solar panels closed on 30 April 2026. The income-tax (IRPF) deductions remain and, for heat pumps, batteries and EV chargers, FACTOR 2026, with limited funds. We will tell you which ones apply to your case.
You send us photos and details by WhatsApp or email; with them we analyse your consumption and your home and work out your savings and the grants you can apply for. If we need to see it, we come.
We carry out the installation and legalise it with the authorities, with all the documentation.
With your authorisation, we submit the subsidy application and the supporting documents. You sign the application and the grant is paid into your bank account.

We're Joaquín and Juan, two partners working together since 1998. JSL is our Mallorcan company, specialised in renewable energy — solar PV and heat pumps. We combine real hands-on trade with proper engineering: every installation starts from a real survey and a quote itemised line by line.
We are an authorised low-voltage installer (REBT) for solar and electrics, a RITE-licensed thermal installer for air conditioning and heat pumps, and certified to handle fluorinated gases in the refrigerant circuit. We work to the regulations in force (CTE, REBT, RITE) and we take care of the whole thing: design, installation, legalisation and the maintenance afterwards.

How we work
At JSL we don't just bolt units to the wall — we build installations to last. Every project starts from a real engineering calculation and gets legalised with the authorities, with its certificate and paperwork, because getting it right today saves you a headache tomorrow.
We work with top brands (Fronius, Victron, DAITSU, Fujitsu, Schneider…), the same ones we've been fitting in Mallorca for years, and we handle everything with one team: survey, installation, legalisation and your grant paperwork. You decide; we take care of the rest.
One detail that says a lot about how we work: we use top professional tools — Testo calibrated instruments, Bosch and Milwaukee on site — and every maintenance visit ends with a digital report with photos and readings. It is not for show: it means we can show you exactly what we checked in your installation.

We calculate and study the drawings in detail. What you sign is what you pay for that job. If something turns up that could not be seen, or you want to add something, we quote it in writing before doing it.
We are an authorised installer: low voltage (REBT) for solar and electrics, and RITE for air conditioning and heat pumps. Every installation is handed over legalised. The equipment we supply and install carries the 3-year legal guarantee for lack of conformity (arts. 115 quater and 120 of the Spanish Consumer Act), plus the official manufacturer's warranty on each unit.
No call centres, no outside sales reps. You deal directly with Joaquín Sanmartín and the technical team responsible for your installation in Mallorca.

Common doubts
Everything you need to know about renewable energy and climate control in Mallorca.
Mallorca has several forms of support for solar panels, each with its own requirements and deadlines: FOTOPAR, national or Balearic IRPF deductions and municipal property-tax rebates. Palma's current ordinance grants 25% of the IBI charge for six tax periods; Calvià grants 50% for three periods (art. 6.5 of its IBI bylaw). For other municipalities, we check the current ordinance before quoting a figure.
Combining both technologies is highly efficient: the electricity produced by your solar panels during the day directly powers the heat pump to heat or cool your home and generate hot water, minimising your grid consumption.
RITE is the Regulation for Thermal Installations in Buildings. The RITE itself requires it: air conditioning, heating and heat pump installations are carried out by licensed installation companies (art. 19.1) and maintained by licensed maintenance companies (art. 26.1). JSL is a RITE-licensed company, so the installation is legalised and its safety and efficiency are certified.
Yes, we do. We install off-grid solar systems on rural estates in Mallorca, each one sized to the way you actually live. We design the system with high-efficiency panels and lithium battery storage, sized to aim for maximum autonomy and a stable supply without depending on the grid.
The price depends on the size of your home and your needs, which is why we always work with a fixed-price quote after a study. A self-consumption system pays for itself through the savings on your bill; we check which grants currently apply in your case.
A residential solar PV installation usually takes us 1-3 working days; a heat pump, depending on the home, 2 to 5 days. We handle the official certification and, with your authorisation, file and justify the grant; you sign the application and the grant is paid into your bank account.
Solar panels need very little maintenance: a periodic check and occasional cleaning. A heat pump needs the servicing set by Spain's thermal-installations regulation or, if the manufacturer asks for more, the manufacturer's. We take care of that maintenance, and the installation carries the 3-year legal guarantee plus each manufacturer's warranty.
