Campos is proper countryside: country homes and stone farmhouses scattered across the farmland, agrotourism hosting guests year-round, the village house in Campos town and the coastal stretch of Sa Ràpita and Ses Covetes, next to Es Trenc. With one thing in common: there's no mains gas here, so people heat with oil, bottled gas or electric, all expensive. A heat pump is exactly what this terrain calls for.
In the Campos countryside traditional heating is expensive and awkward: an oil tank, gas bottles or electric heaters. A heat pump only needs air and electricity. And there's a bonus: the thick stone walls of the old farmhouses hold the temperature beautifully, so with underfloor heating the comfort is excellent. Since a country plot has plenty of roof and land, adding solar panels is the perfect move.
For an agrotourism we size the heat pump around real occupancy: room climate control and enough hot water for several bathrooms at once. The aim is that the busiest months don't blow up your costs —and paired with solar, even less so.
In Sa Ràpita or Ses Covetes, apartments and houses with heavy summer use: a heat pump gives the season's air conditioning and hot water on little, and we leave it programmed so the place is ready when you arrive.

Straight talk
We're Joaquín and Juan, and in Campos three scenes keep coming up. Here they are, plainly, in case yours looks like one of them.
A stone farmhouse in the Campos countryside, thick-walled and full of charm, but cold in winter and heated by gas bottles. During the refurbishment we put in a heat pump with underfloor heating, and the stone does the rest: the house settles into a stable, pleasant temperature, no radiators on show, no bottles and the bill on the floor. The character stays; the discomfort goes.
An agrotourism with several rooms and the pool running from May to October. We fit a heat pump sized for the occupancy: cooling in the rooms, hot water for all the bathrooms at once and the pool heated. With solar panels on top, the busiest months stop being the most expensive.
A country home in the Campos farmland, off-gas and far from town, tied to the oil lorry every winter. We take out the boiler and the tank, fit the heat pump and, using the available land, add solar panels. No more depending on deliveries, and climate-controlling the house drops to a fraction of the cost.

It's one of the places it works best. There's no mains gas in the Campos countryside, so almost everyone runs on oil, bottled gas or electric. A heat pump only needs air and electricity. And there's a bonus: the thick stone walls of the old farmhouses hold a very stable temperature, so with underfloor heating the comfort is excellent. On a country plot you usually have plenty of roof and land to add solar panels too.
Yes, and it's an ideal case for a heat pump. We size it for the real occupancy: room climate control (cooling in summer, heating in winter) and enough hot water for several bathrooms at once. We make it efficient so the busiest months don't blow up the bill, and it pairs with solar panels.
Yes. The same heat pump that climate-controls the house can warm the pool water and stretch the swimming season, which is common in Campos country homes and agrotourism. Combined with solar panels it costs very little.
No, we do it often in the Campos countryside. We remove the oil boiler or the gas bottles and fit the heat pump, reusing the underfloor heating or existing radiators where possible. You get rid of refills and storing fuel, and move to a cleaner system that's far cheaper.
Yes, and Campos is one of the best areas: lots of sun and, on country plots, big roofs and land. The heat pump runs on electricity and the solar panels give it to you free, so you climate-control the house or agrotourism with barely a dent in the bill. We design both systems together so they work in sync.
Yes. Heat pumps qualify for the FACTOR 2026 call from the Balearic Government (up to 70% of the cost for individuals, open since July 2026) and for the income-tax (IRPF) deduction for improving your home's efficiency. We prepare and file all the documentation; you just sign. The award is up to the authorities, but the work of applying is on us.
