Warmth that wraps around you
Heat rises evenly from the whole floor, not from one spot. No cold zones, no cold feet and none of the dry air of radiators.
Underfloor heating · Mallorca
We're Joaquín and Juan. We've been installing underfloor heating across Mallorca together since 1998: warmth that rises evenly from the floor in winter and, with a heating-cooling underfloor system, gentle coolness in summer. Powered by aerothermal heat pumps to keep running costs to a minimum. A RITE-certified company: we install, repair and certify. Juan comes, Joaquín comes, or we both come — we never subcontract.

Why JSL
Comfort starts beneath the floor. What you see is a clean floor; what you feel is a warm, even home.
Heat rises evenly from the whole floor, not from one spot. No cold zones, no cold feet and none of the dry air of radiators.
With a heating-cooling underfloor system and an aerothermal heat pump, cool water runs through the circuits in summer and the floor drops the temperature a few degrees, gently and without draughts.
It works at a low temperature (35-40 ºC), exactly where aerothermal heat pumps perform best. The perfect pairing for a lean bill.
No units on the walls and no visible grilles. You gain space, freedom to decorate and a cleaner, quieter home.
As it doesn't move air, it doesn't stir up dust or dry out the room. A comfortable option for people with allergies and for homes with children.
Installations carried out and, where applicable, certified before the Industry authority under the RITE, with an official warranty and invoice.
Before you decide
Beneath the flooring runs a network of pipes laid out in circuits. Low-temperature water circulates through them, spreading heat across the whole floor surface, and from there it rises naturally into the room. Here are the key points to decide wisely.
This is the system we install: circuit pipework on an insulating panel, manifolds that distribute water to each zone and a thermostat per room. Compared with radiators, it heats more evenly and at a lower temperature, so it uses less for the same comfort.
The same circuits can cool in summer: the aerothermal heat pump sends cool water and the floor absorbs the room's heat, lowering the temperature a few degrees gently. It isn't an air conditioner in a full heatwave, but it gives very pleasant comfort for much of the year, with no draughts or noise.
Underfloor heating runs at 35-40 ºC, exactly the range where aerothermal is most efficient. That's why they go hand in hand: with a single machine you get heating, cooling and hot water, harnessing the energy in the air and — if you add solar panels — almost free during sunlight hours.
In new builds, underfloor heating is practically the standard. In renovations it's possible too: there are low-profile panels that raise the floor level by only a few centimetres, so you don't have to do more building work than necessary. We look at your case and tell you what fits.
How we work
We see your home, measure rooms and needs and calculate the circuits. We recommend the right system and heat pump and give you a fixed, free, no-obligation quote.
We lay the insulating panel, circuits and manifolds, pressure-test everything and leave it ready for the screed and your flooring. Clean, well-finished work.
We balance the circuits, program the thermostats and show you how to get the most out of it. Official warranty and maintenance if you want it.
What we do
From a complete installation to repairing a circuit that has stopped heating.
Water-based underfloor heating for new builds and renovations: panel, circuits, manifolds and thermostats, sized to your home.
Heating-cooling underfloor systems powered by an aerothermal heat pump: warmth in winter and cool in summer with a single system.
We locate circuits that won't heat, manifold faults and leaks in existing installations, with a quote before acting.
Annual check of the manifold, valves and heat pump, circuit bleeding and water-quality control so it lasts for years.
Real work
These photos are from a real job we did ourselves: a home in Llucmajor fully climated with aerothermal underfloor heating. We laid the circuits across the whole floor, connected them to balanced manifolds and built the plant room with its heat pump, valves and thermostats.
The result: even warmth in winter, cool floors in summer and a home without a single visible radiator. All carried out and certified before the Industry authority under the RITE, with its documentation and warranty.
New build or fitting it into a renovation? We look at your case and propose what truly fits your home and your budget.
Real work
Circuits, manifolds and plant room from our own installations. Comfort starts beneath the floor.
Each circuit leaves the manifold balanced and pressure-tested.
Pipework spread across the whole surface before the screed.
The layout reaches every room to leave no cold zones.
The perimeter edge strip prevents thermal bridges and cracks.
The heart of the system: heat pump, valves and controls.
Each zone at its own temperature, stable and efficient.
Common questions
Underfloor heating is a network of pipes running across the whole floor of the house, beneath the flooring. Water at a low temperature (around 35-40 ºC) circulates through them, warming the floor evenly, and the heat rises naturally throughout the room. Because it works at such a low temperature, it is the ideal system to combine with an aerothermal heat pump and keep running costs to a minimum.
Yes, when you install a heating-cooling underfloor system with an aerothermal heat pump. In summer we circulate cool water through the same circuits and the floor absorbs the room's heat, lowering the temperature by a few degrees gently and without draughts or noise. It doesn't replace air conditioning in a full heatwave, but it gives very pleasant comfort for most of the year.
It depends on the square metres, the number of circuits and whether it is new build or a renovation. As a guide, the underfloor system itself usually runs around €45-70/m², plus the aerothermal heat pump that powers it. We give you a fixed, no-obligation quote after seeing your home.
Yes. Besides the classic system, there are low-profile panels designed for renovations that raise the floor level by only a few centimetres. We look at your home and tell you which solution fits without doing more building work than necessary.
Almost any: porcelain tile, natural stone, microcement, wood... Tile and stone transmit heat best. Wood is also compatible if it is rated for underfloor heating. We advise you so the finish you like works well with the system.
Very little. As it is hidden under the floor and works at low pressure, it rarely breaks down. We recommend checking the manifold, valves and heat pump once a year and, periodically, bleeding the circuit and checking the water quality. We also repair and locate leaks in existing installations.
Underfloor heating is an inertia system: it takes longer to warm up than a radiator, but once up to temperature it keeps it very stable and pleasant, with no sharp ups and downs. That's why it's best to let it run continuously at a low temperature rather than switching it on and off.
