Heat pumps for your home in Andratx

Andratx has two worlds within a few kilometres: the design coast —Port d'Andratx, Camp de Mar, Sant Elm— with modern villas, sea views and pools; and the valley —Andratx and s'Arracó— with traditional stone village houses. A heat pump fits both, and almost always against the same thing: expensive oil, bottled gas or electric heating.

Design villas: keeping the unit out of sight

In Port d'Andratx and Camp de Mar it's contemporary villas where the look is everything. There what matters is where we place the outdoor unit so it doesn't show up on the terraces or by the pool: a side return, a service courtyard, a lower part of the garden, with the pipes hidden. Stone village houses in the valley

In s'Arracó or Andratx, the thick-walled stone houses hold a very stable temperature, and a heat pump brings them up to modern comfort without losing their character. If there's a refurbishment, we fit underfloor heating; if not, we use low-temperature emitters. Goodbye to the oil tank and the gas bottles.

By the harbour, materials that handle the salt

Near the harbour and on the seafront the salt air is harsh. So we carefully choose where the outdoor unit goes, mount it on a properly finished base and check it at the annual service. A small detail on fitting day that saves you trouble for the whole life of the unit.

In a Port d'Andratx villa, the client tells us the same thing: the unit can't appear in the picture. We study the plot, find the most discreet corner, route the pipes out of sight and leave the outdoor unit hidden. The house gains full climate control and hot water, and the views stay intact.

The s'Arracó stone house that ran on bottled gas

A village house in s'Arracó or Andratx heated with gas bottles and an electric water heater: expensive, awkward and cold in winter. We swap it all for a heat pump with underfloor heating during the refurbishment so it can operate at a lower water temperature. Performance and savings are calculated from the insulation, emitters and the home's actual use.

The coastal apartment used only in summer

Many Camp de Mar apartments run from May to September. A heat pump gives them the summer air conditioning and hot water through one integrated system, and we leave it programmed so the flat is comfortable when you arrive. If you close it for half the year, you control it from your phone.
