Heat pumps for your home in Andratx
Andratx has two worlds within a few kilometres: the design coast —Port d'Andratx, Camp de Mar, Sant Elm— with modern villas, sea views and pools; and the valley —Andratx and s'Arracó— with traditional stone village houses. In Port d'Andratx and Camp de Mar it's contemporary villas where the look is everything. In s'Arracó or Andratx, the thick-walled stone houses hold a very stable temperature, and a heat pump brings them up to modern comfort without losing their character. By the harbour, materials that handle the salt

The s'Arracó stone house that ran on bottled gas
A village house in s'Arracó or Andratx heated with gas bottles and an electric water heater: expensive, awkward and cold in winter. We swap it all for a heat pump with underfloor heating during the refurbishment, and the stone walls do the rest: stable comfort, no bottles and the bill on the floor.
The coastal apartment used only in summer
Many Camp de Mar apartments run from May to September. A heat pump gives them the summer air conditioning and hot water on very little, and we leave it programmed so the flat is comfortable when you arrive. If you close it for half the year, you control it from your phone.

I have a villa with views in Port d'Andratx, where do you put the outdoor unit so it doesn't spoil the look?
It's the question on nearly every design villa in Port d'Andratx. We find the most discreet spot —a side return, a service courtyard or a lower part of the garden— so the outdoor unit isn't visible from the terraces or the pool, route the pipes out of sight and leave the unit tucked away. The views stay untouched.
Can the heat pump also heat my pool?
Yes. The same heat pump that climate-controls the house can warm the pool water and stretch the swimming season —very much in demand in the villas of Andratx and Camp de Mar. Combined with solar panels, the pool costs you very little.
My stone village house in s'Arracó or Andratx has no gas, does a heat pump work well?
It works perfectly, and it's one of the cases where you notice it most. Village houses in the valley usually rely on oil, bottled gas or electric heating, all expensive. With a heat pump and, if there's a refurbishment, underfloor heating, the thick stone walls hold a very stable temperature, so comfort goes way up while the bill drops.
Near the harbour, can the unit handle the sea salt?
It can, if it's planned. Near the harbour and on the seafront we choose the position so the salt spray doesn't hit it head-on, mount it on a properly finished base and check it at the annual service. That's how it lasts without surprises by the sea.
Can I combine the heat pump with solar panels?
Yes, and it's the best combination in an Andratx villa with high consumption. The heat pump runs on electricity and the solar panels give it to you free from the sun, so you climate-control the house and the pool with the electricity mostly covered by the sun. We design both systems together so they work in sync.
Do you handle the grant paperwork?
Yes. Heat pumps qualify for the FACTOR 2026 call from the Balearic Government (up to 70% of the cost for individuals, open since July 2026) and for the income-tax (IRPF) deduction for improving your home's efficiency. We prepare and file all the documentation; you just sign. The award is up to the authorities, but the work of applying is on us.
