We install the charging point for your electric car at villas in Port d'Andratx, in Camp de Mar and at the fincas of s'Arracó. We are a licensed low-voltage electrical installer: we work out what your supply connection can take, fit the line with its protections and sign the certificate.

Your area
In Monport, La Mola or Cala Marmacen there are modern villas with a good supply connection, solar PV and an electric car in the garage. In s'Arracó and towards Sant Elm there are country houses where the transformer is a long way off and the available power is what it is. The charger is approached differently in each case.
Here the charger goes inside the garage, on an additional circuit from the home's consumer unit (scheme 4 of ITC-BT-52) and linked to the inverter to use the solar surplus. In houses that spend months closed up we leave it programmed and visible in the charger's app, so you can see from abroad whether the car has charged.
With a small supply connection it is not a matter of giving up the charger, but of turning its current down. ITC-BT-52 standardises charging circuits from 10 A (2,300 W) and 16 A (3,680 W): at that power the car takes on a day's driving over a long night. The charger measures the home's consumption and takes only what is left spare.
If the finca runs on solar PV and batteries, the standard schemes of ITC-BT-52 do not apply as they stand: the regulation itself says that, with a renewable source with storage, the designer specifies the electrical scheme. We calculate it with the production curve of the worst month, so the car does not leave the house without power.
Where you save
At a finca with little power the saving is direct: not enlarging the supply connection or the contract. A 16 A circuit (3,680 W) working through the eight hours of the off-peak period puts up to about 29 kWh into the car's battery; with 32 A (7,360 W) it is up to 59 kWh. For everyday use the first is usually more than enough.
At a villa with panels, the saving is in the surplus: RD 244/2019 does not let the compensation exceed the value of the electricity you buy that month. Whatever is left over and not compensated is better off in the car.
And the 2.0TD off-peak period, midnight to 8 am and the whole weekend (CNMC Circular 3/2020), for those without panels.
Rules and grants
Safety: ITC-BT-52 asks for a 30 mA type A RCD at each point and protection against temporary and transient overvoltages. At fincas on a long overhead line that protection is no ornament: it is what saves the car's electronics in a storm.
Grant: the charging point qualifies for FACTOR 2026, which covers 70% capped at €2,500 per installation for individuals and is awarded in order of application until the funds run out. The equipment has to be new and the connector type 2. If the house in Andratx is not your main home, we check before counting on it.

How we work
Send us a photo of your consumer unit, another of where the car parks and your electricity contract. With that we can see which connection scheme applies, how much power fits and which way the cable runs.
A dedicated circuit with its own circuit breaker, its 30 mA RCD and the overvoltage protection that ITC-BT-52 asks for, and the charger set to your contracted power.
We sign the electrical installation certificate and register it with the Balearic industry department. We hand over the documentation and, with your authorisation, file the grant that is open at the time.

Common questions
Yes. ITC-BT-52 provides for charging circuits of 10 A (2,300 W) and 16 A (3,680 W), not only 32 A. At 3,680 W, up to about 29 kWh go into the car in the eight hours of the off-peak period. At fincas in Andratx we fit chargers that measure the home's consumption and use only the spare power, without touching the supply connection.
It can, but it is calculated separately. ITC-BT-52 says its standard schemes do not apply when the charging is fed from a renewable source with storage: the designer specifies the scheme. At an off-grid finca in Andratx we size the charging on the production of the worst month and limit it to daylight hours.
It stays programmed and on standby. Chargers with an app let you see the history, lock use and set schedules; we leave it configured for the 2.0TD off-peak period, midnight to 8 am and weekends. When you arrive in Port d'Andratx, you plug in and it charges on the rule that was already set.
A dedicated circuit, a circuit breaker sized to suit (32 A for 7.4 kW), a 30 mA type A RCD for each point and protection against temporary and transient overvoltages: that is what ITC-BT-52 requires. Outdoors, in addition, an IP5X and IK10 enclosure. It is all recorded on the installation certificate.
The Balearic Government's FACTOR 2026 grant covers 70% of a private charging point of up to 15 kW, capped at €2,500 per installation for individuals, and is open until 28 February 2027 while funds last. It requires you to be domiciled in the Balearic Islands, so for a holiday home in Andratx it is checked first.
Quality
We work with every charger brand; for example, Wallbox, ORBIS Viaris, Simon or the Tesla Wall Connector. What matters is that the unit measures the home's consumption and regulates the charge, not the logo.
