We install the charger for your electric car at villas in Santa Ponça, Portals Nous, Bendinat, Costa d'en Blanes or El Toro, linked to your solar panels if you have them. We are a licensed low-voltage electrical installer: line, protections, certificate and grant paperwork, with a single team.

Your area
In Calvià the norm is a villa with its own parking, often with an air-to-water heat pump, a pool filtration pump and solar PV. The charger is one more big load in a house that already has several, and what has to be worked out is how they live together: how much each one draws, at what time and where the electricity comes from.
A charger that talks to the inverter raises and lowers the current according to the solar surplus at each moment. It makes financial sense: RD 244/2019 limits surplus compensation, which can never exceed the value of the electricity you buy in the month, and the kWh you put into the car has no such ceiling. We set it up with two modes: sun only, or sun plus grid when you need the car full.
Many Calvià villas have a three-phase supply. On single-phase, ITC-BT-52 does not allow more than 9,200 W per charging circuit, and 7,360 W at 32 A is the usual figure; with three-phase you can reach 11 or 22 kW. Watch out for a detail hardly anyone mentions: if the point is outdoors and exceeds 10 kW, ITC-BT-04 asks for an engineering project and an initial inspection. It does not stop you, but it is worth knowing before you choose the power.
Under an open porch or on the entrance wall, the regulation asks for the charger to have IP5X protection against dust and IK10 impact resistance, watertight conduit and 0.6/1 kV cable. On the seafront we also check that the enclosure and the fixings stand up to salt air.
Where you save
The first saving is not contracting more power. A house with a heat pump and a pool is already tight at peak hours; the charger with dynamic load management measures total consumption and gives way when the heat pump starts. The data sheet for the ORBIS Viaris Combi+, for example, describes it like this: a modulator that adjusts the charge so as not to exceed the contracted power.
The second is charging on sunshine. At 7.4 kW the car recovers between 30 and 40 km per hour; at half power, on the surplus of a summer midday, it keeps adding kilometres that never go through the meter.
And without panels, night-time scheduling: the 2.0TD off-peak period runs from midnight to 8 am and takes up the whole weekend (CNMC Circular 3/2020).
Rules and grants
Legalisation: each point has its own circuit, a 30 mA type A RCD and overvoltage protection (ITC-BT-52). We sign the electrical installation certificate and register it with the Balearic industry department; it is the document your insurer and the grant ask for.
Government grant: FACTOR 2026 covers 70% of the charger, capped at €2,500 per installation for individuals, as long as it is a new charging point of up to 15 kW with a type 2 connector. The call is for points of up to 15 kW: if you are thinking of a 22 kW unit, we look at that first. Applicants must be domiciled in the Balearic Islands.

How we work
Send us a photo of your consumer unit, another of where the car parks and your electricity contract. With that we can see which connection scheme applies, how much power fits and which way the cable runs.
A dedicated circuit with its own circuit breaker, its 30 mA RCD and the overvoltage protection that ITC-BT-52 asks for, and the charger set to your contracted power.
We sign the electrical installation certificate and register it with the Balearic industry department. We hand over the documentation and, with your authorisation, file the grant that is open at the time.

Common questions
Yes. The charger is linked to the inverter or to a meter at the supply connection and regulates the current according to the surplus at each moment. It pays off because RD 244/2019 limits surplus compensation to the value of the electricity you buy that month, whereas every kWh that goes into the car is put to full use. At a villa in Santa Ponça or Portals we set it up with a sun-only mode and a sun-plus-grid mode.
It depends on the supply and on the car's on-board charger. On single-phase, ITC-BT-52 limits the charging circuit to 9,200 W, and the usual choice is 7.4 kW at 32 A, which gives 30 to 40 km of range per hour. With three-phase you can go to 11 or 22 kW. If the point is outdoors and exceeds 10 kW, ITC-BT-04 asks for an engineering project and an initial inspection.
Yes, if the unit is rated for outdoor use. For open-air stations ITC-BT-52 asks for IP5X protection, IK10 impact resistance, IPX4 conduit and cable with a rated voltage of 0.6/1 kV. Near the sea in Calvià we also look at the corrosion resistance the manufacturer declares.
FACTOR 2026 covers 70% of the charging point, capped at €2,500 per installation for individuals, but it requires you to be domiciled in the Balearic Islands. If the Calvià house is a holiday home, we check it with you before counting on the grant. The 15% deduction in Spanish income tax (IRPF) is for those who pay that tax in Spain.
Usually not. We fit chargers with dynamic load management: they measure the home's consumption and turn the car's charge down while the heat pump, the pool pump or the oven are running. In addition, the 2.0TD tariff lets you contract one power for the off-peak period, midnight to 8 am and weekends, and a different one for the rest of the day.
Quality
We work with every charger brand; for example, Wallbox, ORBIS Viaris, Simon or the Tesla Wall Connector. What matters is that the unit measures the home's consumption and regulates the charge, not the logo.
