We're Joaquín and Juan. In sa Pobla we fit air conditioning in village houses with a back yard, flats in the centre and farmhouses on the market-garden plain, a stone’s throw from s'Albufera. Here, as well as heat, humidity matters. We're a RITE-registered installer and F-gas certified. We don't subcontract anyone.

Your area
sa Pobla is open market-garden plain, with s'Albufera close by. The AEMET station Sa Pobla Sa Canova, at 32 m, records the town’s weather; you can check it on aemet.es. On a plain with no shade and no sea breeze the afternoon sun heats the walls, and the surrounding humidity makes the heat feel stronger than the thermometer says.
The yard or back patio is the natural place for the outdoor unit: in the shade, with air around it and away from the street. What we check is that it isn’t under a neighbour’s bedroom window: noise is regulated by the Balearic Law 1/2007 and the municipal bylaw.
In a farmhouse the distances are longer and the outdoor unit may end up far from the rooms. The more pipe, the more it counts in the calculation; we also look at your contracted electrical power, which comes from a bill and a photo of the fuse box.
In a flat, the outdoor unit usually goes on the terrace or gallery. If the building has a community of owners, Spain’s Horizontal Property Act (art. 7.1) says the façade must not be altered and the community’s representative told first.
Where the savings are
Near a wetland, on many afternoons what bothers you is the mugginess. “Dry” mode cools a little and dehumidifies a lot, and it’s often enough. The RITE takes 45-60% as the indoor design humidity for summer: with drier air you’re fine at 26 °C, the temperature IDAE recommends.
What costs nothing, also from IDAE: lower awnings and shutters during the sunny hours and use a ceiling fan, which feels 3 to 5 °C cooler. Every degree you don’t ask of the unit is around 7% less consumption.
How we work
Send us photos of each room, of where the outdoor unit would go and of the fuse box. We size the unit with a heat-load calculation, as the RITE requires, and send you an itemised quote; if we need to see it, we come.
We fit it ourselves, under our F-gas certification: vacuum, leak test, condensate drain and commissioning. No subcontractors.
You get the invoice, the 3-year legal guarantee (arts. 115 quater and 120 TRLGDCU) and the servicing the regulations require or, if the manufacturer asks for more, what the manufacturer asks for.

Common questions
If it isn’t very hot but the air is heavy, “Dry” mode is usually enough: it cools a little and removes a lot of humidity. In the hottest hours, cooling at 26 °C, as IDAE recommends. Both modes send the water out through the condensate drain, which has to be done properly.
In the yard, in the shade if possible, with room around it to breathe and away from bedroom windows, yours and the neighbours’. Noise is regulated by the Balearic Law 1/2007 and sa Pobla’s bylaw.
There is no figure that fits every house or every brand: we work it out from each room’s heat load, as the RITE requires. Afternoon sun, insulation, windows and ceiling height all count. An oversized unit doesn’t cool better: it starts and stops more.
It depends on what you already have and how many units you fit. With a recent bill and a photo of the fuse box we’ll tell you before starting, so the main switch doesn’t trip on the first hot day.
Air filters, often: the manual of the General ASEH09KJCAL split, for example, asks for every two weeks, because dust cuts airflow, raises noise and lowers efficiency. In a house next to the fields they get dirty sooner. The inside —coil, tray, drain and gas— goes into the service the regulations require or, if it asks for more, the manufacturer.
Yes. We do the servicing and, if the unit loses gas, we find and fix the leak before recharging, as Regulation (EU) 2024/573 requires. We handle refrigerant under our F-gas certification (Royal Decree 115/2017).

We work with every air-conditioning brand; the models quoted on this page are examples with official data sheets, not the only option.
