We're Joaquín and Juan. Lloseta sits at the foot of the Serra de Tramuntana, and here air conditioning works as hard in winter as in summer: a heat-pump split is heating too. We fit it in village houses, new homes and country properties. We're a RITE-registered installer and F-gas certified. We don't subcontract anyone.

Your area
Lloseta lies near Inca, Binissalem and Alaró, where the plain starts climbing towards the mountains. Two AEMET stations help explain it: Binissalem-Sa Vinyota, at 105 m on the plain, and Lluc, at 490 m in the heart of the Serra. Comparing them on aemet.es on a January night shows what height and the mountains change. That’s why in Lloseta we ask the unit to heat well, not only to cool.
The stone walls of old houses keep the cool in summer and are slow to warm in winter. Taking the pipework through one of those walls takes patience: we find the least visible point, drill, seal and leave the condensate drain sloping outwards.
If there is a renovation, that’s the time to think about ducts: the unit in the false ceiling and grilles in each room, nothing hanging on the walls. Without a false ceiling, a multi-split leaves a single outdoor unit for several rooms.
Many homes in the area are heated with underfloor heating and a heat pump. Summer cooling never goes through the floor, which would condense in Mallorca’s humidity: fan coils, ducts or splits do it. More on heat pumps in Lloseta.
Where the savings are
A heat-pump split burns nothing: it moves heat from the outdoor air indoors. For example, the General ASEH09KJCAL declares heating down to −20 °C outside. In cold, damp weather the outdoor unit runs defrost cycles of up to 15 minutes, according to its own manufacturer: it pauses for a while and carries on, and it’s not a fault.
At 21 °C you are already comfortable; 19-21 °C is enough during the day and 15-17 °C in bedrooms. Each extra degree raises consumption by around 7%. Taking the setpoint from 23 to 21 °C is, on that basis, in the order of 14% less.
How we work
Send us photos of each room, of where the outdoor unit would go and of the fuse box. We size the unit with a heat-load calculation, as the RITE requires, and send you an itemised quote; if we need to see it, we come.
We fit it ourselves, under our F-gas certification: vacuum, leak test, condensate drain and commissioning. No subcontractors.
You get the invoice, the 3-year legal guarantee (arts. 115 quater and 120 TRLGDCU) and the servicing the regulations require or, if the manufacturer asks for more, what the manufacturer asks for.

Common questions
In many houses, yes, as long as the output is worked out from each room’s heat load, as the RITE requires: orientation, walls, windows and ceiling height change the numbers. A heat-pump split heats even when it’s cold outside (the General ASEH09KJCAL, for example, declares heating down to −20 °C); what it can’t do is work miracles in an uninsulated house.
IDAE recommends 21 °C: 19-21 °C is enough during the day and 15-17 °C in bedrooms. Each extra degree means around 7% more consumption, so going from 23 to 21 °C is roughly 14% less.
Yes, with care. We choose a route that shows as little as possible, drill with the drain sloping outwards and seal both sides. With photos of the wall inside and out we’ll tell you where we’d go.
If there is a false ceiling or a renovation coming, ducts hide the unit and spread the air through grilles around the house. If not, one split per room or a multi-split, with one outdoor unit for several indoor ones, avoids building work.
Not for cooling. In Mallorca cooling never goes through the floor, because the humidity would make it condense. The same heat pump can cool with fan coils or ducts, or splits are added in the hottest rooms.
