Your town

Solar panels in Lloseta: the sun the mountain leaves you

Lloseta sits where the Raiguer starts climbing towards the Serra de Tramuntana. That has a consequence you do not get on the plain: in the houses closest to the slope, the mountain takes a bit of sun on winter afternoons. It is not a problem if you know it in advance; it is if someone works out your production with an island-wide average.

Terraced village houses

Small roofs, sometimes with an inner courtyard, and neighbours on both sides. We study which pitch really gets sun through the year, the shade from chimneys and taller buildings nearby, and fix the mounting without breaking the tiles. If the good pitch cannot take everything, we choose well rather than filling the roof with panels that do not perform.

Country houses at the foot of the mountains

More space and more options: roof, pergola or ground. Here we measure the horizon on the plot itself, because two houses a hundred metres apart can differ by an hour of sun in December. And as many are used in the evening and at night, the battery is often what makes the numbers work.

Workshops and units

A workshop uses power during working hours, which is when the panels produce most. Without batteries the investment is lower and almost everything is self-consumed. We check the unit's switchboard and protective devices first, because producing power is pointless if the wiring inside is not up to it.

Grants & local taxes

Solar grants in Lloseta: what exists and what we check for you

Lloseta's IBI bylaw (art. 10.5, BOIB no. 166 of 18-12-2025, in force since 1 January 2026) gives a 50% discount on the tax for the 3 periods after a solar self-consumption system is installed, up to €500 per home per year; it has to be requested before 31 March, and the system must not be one the regulations already require. The ICIO bylaw (art. 4.5, BOIB no. 39 of 19-03-2022) gives a 95% discount on the cost of the solar part of the works, requested with the tax self-assessment. Neither is applied automatically: you have to apply, and we prepare the technical documents the town hall asks for.

FOTOPAR 2027 already has its dates: 26 January to 30 April 2027, or until the budget runs out, with €600/kWp for solar up to 5 kWp and €420/kWh for batteries (BOIB no. 171, 25 December 2025). One detail matters: you apply before the works start. The 2026 call closed on 30 April 2026.

If the installation is finished and paid for in 2026, with its electrical installation certificate, Spanish income-tax law (additional provision 62) allows a 10% deduction, up to €500. Income-tax (IRPF) deductions are claimed by you in your Spanish tax return, using the invoices and certificates we hand over.

Batteries have another route: FACTOR 2026 funds self-consumption storage at 45%, with a module of up to €910/kWh for batteries up to 10 kWh, applied for by 28 February 2027. It cannot be combined with FOTOPAR for the same battery: you choose the one that suits you better.

The Balearic government grants require individual applicants to be domiciled in the Balearic Islands: if the house is a holiday home and you live abroad, we check that before counting on them.

Common questions

Frequently asked questions about solar panels in Lloseta

Do you install solar panels in Lloseta?

Yes: in Lloseta's old town, in the country houses of the municipality and in workshops and units. The system is registered as self-consumption (Royal Decree 244/2019) with its electrical installation certificate, which we sign as a low-voltage electrical installer.

My house is right under the mountains. Are panels worth it?

Almost always, but it has to be measured on your plot. According to the typical year calculated by PVGIS, the European Commission tool, each kWp facing south at 35° yields about 1,562 kWh a year in Lloseta, so a 3 kWp home system produces around 4,700 kWh a year. In November, the weakest month, it still gives 97 kWh per kWp, 60% of July. That figure already includes the terrain horizon PVGIS calculates; on site we also check nearby shading.

How much does a 3 kWp system produce in Lloseta?

In Lloseta, about 4,700 kWh a year according to the typical year calculated by PVGIS (1,562 kWh per kWp, 35° south). With normal household use that covers a good share of the bill if power is used during the day or stored in a battery.

Is there an IBI discount in Lloseta for solar panels?

Yes, if you apply for it: Lloseta's IBI bylaw (art. 10.5, BOIB no. 166 of 18-12-2025) gives a 50% discount on the tax for the 3 periods after a solar self-consumption system is installed, up to €500 per home per year. It has to be requested before 31 March, and the system must not be one the regulations already require. We prepare the technical documents. There is also FOTOPAR 2027: €600/kWp up to 5 kWp, from 26 January to 30 April 2027.

Are batteries worth it?

If a Lloseta household uses power mostly in the evening and at night, yes: they turn daytime production into savings. FACTOR 2026 funds self-consumption batteries at 45%, with a module of up to €910/kWh up to 10 kWh, applied for by 28 February 2027.

Do you work in English and German?

Yes. We assist you in English, Spanish and German, and reply within 24-48 hours on working days. In Lloseta and across the Raiguer we have clients in all three languages.
