We're Joaquín and Juan. In Inca we fit split, multi-split and ducted systems in terraced town houses, flats, villas on the outskirts and also in shops and industrial units, which have their own servicing rules. We're a RITE-registered installer and certified to handle fluorinated gases. We don't subcontract anyone.

Your area
Inca sits in the Raiguer, at the foot of the Serra de Tramuntana and away from the sea. The nearest AEMET station with public data is Binissalem-Sa Vinyota, at 105 m: on aemet.es you can see its daily highs and lows. Without a sea breeze, summer afternoons bite and winter nights are cooler, so here we want a heat-pump unit that works in both seasons.
A narrow front onto the street and a courtyard or flat roof at the back. The outdoor unit almost always does better on the roof or in the courtyard than hanging over the pavement: it is quieter from the street, easier to service and it leaves the front of the house as it was. We run the pipework inside wherever possible, with no trunking on the façade.
Inca lives on trade and industry, with its long tradition of shoes and leather. In a shop the RITE asks for more than in a home: a unit up to 12 kW is inspected every 2 years (every 4 in a home), and from 12 to 70 kW every year (IT 3, table 3.1). These are minimums: if your unit’s manufacturer asks for more, the manufacturer rules.
In a three- or four-bedroom flat, a multi-split runs several indoor units off one outdoor unit: one machine on the terrace instead of three, and each room with its own remote. If the hallway has a false ceiling, ducts carry the air through grilles and nothing shows on the walls.
Where the savings are
An inverter doesn’t start and stop: it slows the compressor once the room is at temperature, and those restarts are where the electricity goes. For example, the General ASEH09KJCAL wall split runs in cooling between 0.9 and 3.2 kW depending on demand and declares a SEER of 9.2, class A+++. That is the manufacturer’s test figure, not a bill, and we work with every brand.
IDAE, Spain’s energy agency, puts it at around 7% saved per degree and recommends 26 °C or higher in summer and 21 °C in winter. In a shop with the door open to the street, setting 22 °C doesn’t cool any faster: it only makes the unit work harder.
How we work
Send us photos of each room, of where the outdoor unit would go and of the fuse box. We size the unit with a heat-load calculation, as the RITE requires, and send you an itemised quote; if we need to see it, we come.
We fit it ourselves, under our F-gas certification: vacuum, leak test, condensate drain and commissioning. No subcontractors.
You get the invoice, the 3-year legal guarantee (arts. 115 quater and 120 TRLGDCU) and the servicing the regulations require or, if the manufacturer asks for more, what the manufacturer asks for.

Common questions
The RITE (IT 3, table 3.1) separates homes from other uses. In a shop, a unit up to 12 kW is inspected every 2 years and one from 12 to 70 kW every year; above 70 kW, every month. If the manufacturer’s manual asks for more, you do what the manufacturer asks. Only F-gas certified staff may work on the refrigerant circuit (Royal Decree 115/2017), and we are.
Not for splits: the FACTOR 2026 call does not accept air-to-air units in homes (BOIB no. 83, 2 July 2026). An air-to-water heat pump does qualify, and with fan coils it also cools in summer; we explain it on heat pumps in Inca.
Usually on the flat roof or the roof, with the pipework inside. If it has to go on the façade, first check the municipal bylaw and, if the building is a community of owners, Spain’s Horizontal Property Act (art. 7.1) says works must not alter the building’s exterior and the community must be told beforehand.
Yes: it is a heat pump that takes heat from the outdoor air. The General ASEH09KJCAL, for example, declares heating down to −20 °C outside. Its manufacturer also warns that output drops as it gets colder and that, in cold, damp weather, the outdoor unit runs defrost cycles of up to 15 minutes: that is normal, not a fault.
The price of an installed split depends on output, pipe length to the outdoor unit, roof access, electrical work and brand. With photos we send you an itemised quote.
We reply within 24-48 hours on working days. Photos of each room, of where the outdoor unit would go and of the fuse box help, plus the size and orientation of each room and a recent electricity bill.
Quality
We work with every air-conditioning brand; the models quoted on this page are examples with official data sheets, not the only option.
