We are Joaquín and Juan. One heat pump gives you heating, hot water and, with fan coils or ducts, cool air in summer. In Inca and the Raiguer villages we fit them in village houses, villas and fincas, replacing the oil boiler or the old water heater. We are a licensed thermal installer (RITE): survey, installation, legalisation and the paperwork for the FACTOR grant. We don't subcontract anyone.

In an inland Mallorca home the big bill is winter heating, and that is where a heat pump makes the difference: it burns no fuel, it moves the heat already in the outdoor air. One example of what we fit, the Daitsu Multi-Hybrid, has a COP of up to 4.24 and a seasonal SCOP of 3.72 (official Daitsu catalogue 2024-25): for every kWh of electricity it delivers about 3.7 kWh of heat on average over the year. A boiler cannot, because it burns energy rather than multiplying it.
According to IDAE, the Spanish energy agency, every extra degree of heating raises consumption by about 7%. 21 °C is already comfortable, 19-21 °C is enough in the daytime and 15-17 °C in bedrooms. Going from 23 to 21 °C means roughly 14% less consumption without changing anything else.
In the terraced houses of the centre the outdoor unit goes on the roof terrace or in the patio, and indoors any existing radiators are reused. If you are renovating, underfloor heating works at low temperature, which is where a heat pump is most efficient. Summer cooling comes from fan coils or ducts, never through the floor: with Mallorca's humidity it would condense.
On a finca with an oil boiler, switching to a heat pump gets rid of the tank, the deliveries and the burner. And if there is room for solar panels, you produce part of the electricity the heat pump uses: many units are Smart Grid Ready; Daitsu, for example, have Modbus RTU as standard (Daitsu catalogue 2024-25), so they can be set to run when there is surplus sun.
Grants and local taxes
The FACTOR 2026 call from the Balearic Government funds heat pumps at 70% for private individuals, counting at most 1,000 €/kWt of capacity (plus 450 €/kWt if new distribution, such as underfloor heating, is also fitted) and capped at 25,000 € per installation. Applications run until 28 February 2027, first come, first served, until funds run out. You need your home address in the Balearic Islands and a heat pump with an SPF above 2.5; air-to-air units (splits) are excluded in homes. A private individual may have started the works from 1 January 2026.
And the council? Inca's IBI and ICIO rebates are for solar energy, not for heat pumps. If you add panels, those do qualify: 50% off the IBI for 3 years and 95% off the ICIO on the solar items. See solar panels in Inca.
We prepare the paperwork and, with your authorisation, file and justify the grant; you sign the application and the grant is paid into your bank account. The authorities decide whether it is awarded.

How we work
You send us photos and details by WhatsApp or email; with them we look at what you have now (oil, butane or electric), the insulation and radiators, size the unit from the heat loads of the house, as RITE requires, and tell you how much you save. If we need to see it, we come.
We fit the heat pump, the hot water tank and the emitters, and legalise the installation with Industry under RITE.

Common questions
This is where it shows most. A heat pump burns no fuel: it moves heat from the outdoor air. For example, the Daitsu Multi-Hybrid, one of the units we fit, has a COP of up to 4.24 and a seasonal SCOP of 3.72 (official Daitsu catalogue 2024-25), meaning about 3.7 kWh of heat per kWh of electricity on average over the year. Applications until 28 February 2027, first come, first served, until funds run out (BOIB no. 83 of 2-7-2026). It requires a home address in the Balearic Islands and an SPF above 2.5.
No. Inca's rebates, 50% off the IBI for 3 years (BOIB no. 168 of 24-12-2024) and 95% off the ICIO (art. 4.b, BOIB no. 152 of 9-11-2023), are for the solar part of the works. If you fit panels together with the heat pump, that part does qualify.
According to IDAE, every extra degree raises heating consumption by about 7%. 21 °C is already comfortable, 19-21 °C is enough in the daytime and 15-17 °C in bedrooms. Going from 23 to 21 °C saves roughly 14% without touching anything else.
Yes, the same heat pump reverses its cycle. Cooling is delivered through fan coils or ducts: in Mallorca never through underfloor heating, because with the humidity it would condense. Note on grants: FACTOR 2026 excludes air-to-air units (splits) in homes; only air-to-water heat pumps qualify.
Yes, and it is the combination that saves most: the heat pump uses electricity and the panels produce it. Many units are Smart Grid Ready; Daitsu, for example, have Modbus RTU as standard (Daitsu catalogue 2024-25), so they can be set to run on surplus sun. In Inca each kWp of panels produces about 1,536 kWh a year according to the typical year calculated by PVGIS.
Quality
We work with every heat pump brand. For example, DAITSU, with its multi-hybrid (heating, cooling and hot water) and HEATANK tanks, and the ones you see below.
