Your area
Campanet sits where the plain meets the Serra de Tramuntana, in a landscape of olives, carobs and country houses. Even so, it gets plenty of sun for the north: the village looks out over the plain.
Many houses in the municipality have land or outbuilding roofs where panels can face the right way. If the house is far from the grid, an off-grid system with batteries, sized for the worst month of the year.
In the village, tiled roofs with trees around, as in the photo: we study the shade from trees and neighbouring buildings before deciding where the panels go, because shade in winter costs more than one extra panel gains.
Campanet's bylaw gives an IBI rebate for five tax years, but requires residential use and the applicant's own home. It's an incentive designed for people who live here all year.
In numbers
According to PVGIS (European Commission, queried on 7-Oct-2026, 35° south, 14 % losses), each kWp in Campanet yields about 1,558 kWh a year, the highest figure of the northern towns we queried. A 3 kWp system comes to around 4,670 kWh a year.
Winter holds up: the worst month (November, 96 kWh per kWp) gives 59 % of the sunniest month, close to Palma (61 %). The mountains lie to the north and don't block the low southern sun.
The saving is in what you use while you produce: running the washing machine, dishwasher, water heater or heat pump in sunny hours turns more production into kWh you no longer buy.
Grants
IBI (property tax): Campanet's tax bylaw gives a 50 % IBI rebate for 5 tax years for installing solar energy, for residential use and at the applicant's home (art. 6.2, BOIB 21/2025).
ICIO (building-works tax): in the published bylaw we haven't found a rebate on the building-works tax for solar installations.
FOTOPAR 2027 (Balearic Government): applications from 26 January to 30 April 2027 or until its 2 million euros run out, and you must apply before the work starts. Applicants must be domiciled in the Balearic Islands: if it is your holiday home, ask us about your case. Batteries can go through FACTOR 2026 (45 %, open until 28 February 2027), but not both grants for the same thing.
If the installation is paid for and finished in 2026, the new Spanish income-tax deduction for self-consumption (DA 62ª) is 10 %, up to €500. Income-tax (IRPF) deductions are claimed by you in your Spanish tax return, using the invoices and certificates we hand over.
We prepare the paperwork and, with your authorisation, file and justify the grant; you sign the application and the grant is paid into your bank account. The authorities decide whether it is awarded.

How we work
With a bill and photos of the roof or land (and of the trees that cast shade) we work out what you'd produce according to the typical year calculated by PVGIS.
We install on the roof or ground, grid-tied or off-grid, and legalise the self-consumption system (RD 244/2019) with the electrical installation certificate.
With your authorisation we file whichever grant is open and leave you the paperwork for Campanet's IBI rebate.

Common questions
Yes. According to the typical year calculated by PVGIS (European Commission, 35° south, 14 % losses), each kWp yields about 1,558 kWh a year in Campanet, more than Pollença (1,515) or Muro (1,546). In November, the worst month, it still gives 59 % of the sunniest month, close to Palma (61 %), because the Serra de Tramuntana lies north of the village and doesn't block the winter sun.
In Campanet, yes: 50 % of IBI for 5 tax years, for residential use and at the applicant's home (art. 6.2 of the IBI bylaw, BOIB 21/2025). Five years is longer than the three periods of many other towns, and it's designed for year-round homes.
In Campanet's published ICIO bylaw we haven't found a rebate for solar installations. If one is in force when you apply for the licence, we'll prepare the paperwork. What there is, is the IBI rebate: 50 % for 5 tax years.
Yes, with panels, an inverter-charger and lithium batteries sized for the worst month: in Campanet, November, with 96 kWh per kWp installed according to the typical year calculated by PVGIS. For the FACTOR grant on an off-grid system, the legality of the site must be proven.
In Campanet, about 4,670 kWh a year according to the typical year calculated by PVGIS (queried on 7-Oct-2026). What you save depends on how much of that you use while it's produced: that's why we look at your bill and when you use power before deciding the size.
For a house in Campanet: the Government's FOTOPAR 2027, from 26 January to 30 April 2027 (BOIB no. 171 of 25-12-2025), which you must apply for before starting; FACTOR 2026 for batteries at 45 %, until 28 February 2027; the income-tax deduction for self-consumption if you finish and pay in 2026 (10 %, up to €500); and the municipal IBI rebate of 50 % for 5 tax years.
Quality
We work with every brand; for example JA Solar or LONGi panels, Fronius, Huawei or GoodWe inverters, and on an off-grid country house Victron with Pylontech or BYD batteries.

Send us an electricity bill and a few photos, and we'll tell you what you'd produce. Itemised quote.
