Your area
Felanitx is a town in its own right with two very distinct sides. On one hand, the agricultural and wine-growing inland: the town of Felanitx below the Puig de Sant Salvador, the villages of Cas Concos and s'Horta, and countryside full of farms, agrotourism properties and wineries of the Pla i Llevant appellation, with plenty of irrigation, well pumping and outbuildings. On the other, the Portocolom coast: a natural harbour with its lighthouse, second homes and summer houses, coves such as Cala Marçal or Cala Sa Nau and many German owners. That's why we approach solar here in three ways.
Felanitx farms have plenty of roof area across the house, the sheds and the stores, and a farming load that concentrates during the day: irrigation, pumps, cellar cooling and machinery. It's the perfect setting for a well-sized self-consumption installation. At agrotourism properties and Pla i Llevant wineries, photovoltaic also cuts the bill right when the work is busiest, and adds up as a sustainability point for the lodging or the wine.
Portocolom is full of summer houses that sit empty through winter. For that profile we fit systems with lithium batteries and monitoring, so the energy you produce while you're away isn't wasted and the house stays protected (alarm, fridge, pumps) 365 days a year. You control it from your phone wherever you are, which is very handy for the many foreign owners around the harbour.
Out in the Felanitx countryside the big cost is drawing water from the well. With solar pumping the pump runs straight off the panels while the sun is up, with hardly any bill, to irrigate, fill tanks or feed a treatment plant. It's ideal on remote farms where the mains is weak, and if you need water at night too we add batteries so you don't depend on daylight.

Common questions
Very much so. Well pumping is one of the biggest costs on a farm, and it can be covered with direct solar pumping: the panels run the pump while the sun is up, with hardly any bill. If you need to irrigate or treat water at night too, we add batteries. On remote farms in the Felanitx countryside it makes the biggest difference, because sometimes the mains supply out there is poor.
It's the ideal setting. At an agrotourism, the guests' use —pool, hot water, climate control, kitchen— lines up with the summer daylight hours, exactly when the house is full. We size the panels to cover that daytime load, so you cut the bill right in high season. It's also one more sustainability selling point for your Pla i Llevant property.
Yes. For a second or holiday home we fit batteries and online monitoring, so the energy you produce while you're away isn't wasted and the house stays protected (alarm, fridge, pumps) 365 days a year. You control it from your phone whether you're in Mallorca or back home, and any surplus is fed to the grid with a credit on your bill.
Yes. We manage self-consumption grants when there's an open call, the income-tax deduction and the IBI property tax rebate under the bylaw of the Ajuntament de Felanitx. We check which grants are currently active and apply to you. Approval always depends on each call and on meeting the requirements, but the application work is on us.
We take care of the looks. On the stone houses and possessions of Felanitx we go for the least visible roof pitch, use black-frame or full black panels and keep the cabling hidden, so the installation performs without spoiling the character of the house. If needed, we can also use a pergola or a farm outbuilding as the mounting.
Quality
On Felanitx farms and houses we usually fit JA Solar and LONGi panels with Fronius or GoodWe inverters and BYD batteries; we work with almost all major brands on the market.
