A heat pump with heat recovery: a single AOHD outdoor unit (12-28 kW) feeds the hydraulic module Hidrobox / Aquabox AIHD (water side: DHW in the Aquatank cylinder, underfloor, Jaga radiators) and the direct-expansion indoor units (wall, cassette, ducted, floor or ceiling). Multisplit with heat recovery for DHW · up to 4 indoor units

For a mid-size detached home or large flat that doesn't need the complexity of Multi-Hybrid but wants AC across several rooms plus DHW recovered. A single DOSM-27KDT/ACS outdoor unit (7.9 kW) + WITD FM 190 L DHW tank + up to 4 indoor units (wall Artic / Artic Plus, ducted, cassette or floor). Uses R32 refrigerant (more eco-friendly). IAhorro algorithm: adaptive intelligence that learns from your daily use and adjusts the unit to consume less. Wi-Fi built in, compatible with Google Home and Alexa.

Meets CTE HE4 (Spain) with standalone thermodynamic DHW

For new build or full refurbishment that wants modularity (swap one component without touching the rest). Thermodynamic water heater HEATANK V4.1 (100/150/200/300 L by home size) up to 350% more efficient than a conventional electric water heater, COPdhw 2.60-3.21 depending on model (EN 16147, average climate); combined with the Artic Plus wall split (A++ with Wi-Fi, self-cleaning, Gentle Air) and Atlas II ducted units (A++, Airzone-compatible). If your country home does not have a connection to the public sewer mains, this compact biological SBR wastewater system is a reference solution. It is very quiet, odour-free, and requires minimal maintenance. Product certified to EN 12566-3, suitable for discharge authorisation from the Conselleria de Medio Ambiente for safe ground discharge or garden irrigation.

Traditional old radiators require water heated to 70 °C, forcing your boiler to consume a massive amount of fuel. Jaga Strada Hybrid radiators are optimised to work with water at low temperatures (35–40 °C), making them the perfect companions for your heat pump. They feature ultra-quiet micro-fans that boost convection, heating any room instantly with very low power consumption.

High-insulation hot water cylinders & smart booster pumps

We fit hot-water cylinders and storage tanks with polyurethane insulation to reduce heat loss. Where an installation has low pressure, we size and integrate booster sets by Grundfos, DAB or Ebara to stabilise flow within the limits of the equipment and the internal water system.

How the Daitsu multi-hybrid 3-pipe system works

Many clients ask us why we strongly advocate for the Daitsu 3-pipe multi-hybrid systems for detached villas in Mallorca. The answer is not marketing; it is pure physics and economic common sense.

In a conventional 2-pipe heat pump installation, the system can produce either cooling for your house in summer, or domestic hot water (DHW), but it cannot do both at the same time efficiently. When it is cooling your house and demands hot water, it must stop the AC, switch its internal cycle valve, and run DHW production, consuming extra electricity.

The Daitsu 3-pipe multi-hybrid system adds a third pipe connecting the compressor discharge directly to your domestic hot water cylinder. The physical principle is simple:

The physical recovery cycle:

  1. Indoor Cooling: The indoor AC unit absorbs thermal heat from inside your home.
  2. Heat Recovery: Instead of venting that waste heat outside through the outdoor fan (as every standard AC unit on earth does), the 3-pipe system automatically redirects it to the domestic hot water heat exchanger.
  3. Heat recovery for hot water: When cooling and hot-water demand coincide, part of the thermal energy extracted from the home can be transferred to the cylinder. The Daitsu Multi-Hybrid system (AOHD 40, 45 and 54 models) declares a COP of up to 4.24 in its technical data; actual performance depends on the model, temperatures and operating conditions.

Put simply: when the home needs cooling and hot water at the same time, the system can reuse part of the extracted heat to warm the water. This can reduce the energy used for DHW, but it does not mean zero cost: results depend on temperatures, setpoints, simultaneous demand and each home's usage pattern.

Frequently asked questions about our equipment and the brands we fit

Why is it better to buy the equipment and have it installed by JSL instead of buying online?

When JSL supplies the equipment, we can check sizing, compatibility and documentation in advance, then coordinate transport, installation, configuration, registration and the manufacturer's warranty through one contact. We can also install customer-supplied equipment after checking its condition, documents and compatibility; we confirm the scope before accepting the job.

What brands and models do you use for solar self-consumption in Mallorca?

JSL works with all brands and selects the model according to power, compatibility, technical support and spare-parts availability for the Mallorca project. Fronius Primo or Symo are common options for grid-connected self-consumption; Victron MultiPlus-II and SmartSolar for off-grid or backup systems. We do not impose a brand before calculating the installation.

How exactly does the Daitsu multi-hybrid 3-pipe heat pump work?

It is a heat-recovery technology. While cooling the home, the system can transfer part of the extracted heat to the domestic-hot-water circuit instead of rejecting all of it outdoors. When cooling and hot-water demand coincide, this reduces the additional energy needed to heat the cylinder; actual consumption depends on temperatures, setpoints and operating conditions, so we do not promise zero cost.

Is it mandatory to certify this equipment with the Ministry of Industry?

It depends on the type, output and scope of the installation in Mallorca. Before quoting, we check whether an electrical CIE, RITE documentation or another filing with the Balearic Government's Directorate-General for Industry applies. JSL signs and submits the documents covered by our licences; any work outside that scope is identified in writing.

What warranty do the systems installed by JSL have?

The equipment's commercial warranty depends on the brand, model, registration and the manufacturer's current terms; it is stated in the quotation and handover documents. The installation is also subject to the applicable statutory warranty —3 years for goods under Article 120 of Spain's consumer law. If an issue appears, JSL checks whether it concerns installation, equipment or maintenance and handles the appropriate route.
