What you use by day
While the sun's up, you run on your own energy instead of buying it from the supplier. That's what brings the bill down the most.
Solar panels · Real savings
We're Joaquín and Juan, installers in Mallorca since 1998. We'll give it to you straight: the savings from solar panels depend on your roof and your usage, so there's no magic figure that fits everyone. What we can do is explain what it comes down to and work it out free for your home, with the hours of sun we get here.

First, the honest truth
A family that uses a lot during the day is a different case from a house left empty on weekdays. Your savings with solar panels depend above all on: how much electricity you use and when, the orientation and the space on your roof (in Mallorca, the west-facing afternoon sun performs beautifully), the power we install and whether or not you add a battery. That's why, instead of promising you a percentage, we work it out with your real figures.
How it turns into euros
While the sun's up, you run on your own energy instead of buying it from the supplier. That's what brings the bill down the most.
The energy you generate but don't use goes back to the grid and is credited on your bill, cutting what you pay even further.
A battery stores the day's surplus to use at night. It pays off when you use a lot outside the sunny hours; we'll assess it for your case.
Less to put in up front
For individuals in the Balearics, solar self-consumption (and batteries) is covered by the FOTOPAR 2026 call, and on top of that you can add the income-tax (IRPF) deduction for improving energy efficiency. All of that shortens the payback time. We prepare and file the paperwork for you; approval, of course, depends on the administration. We explain it all on the grants page.
No surprises
We look at your electricity bills (how much and when you use power), your roof and its orientation, and we size the installation to produce what you really need. With that we give you an honest figure: how much you can cut the bill and how long it takes to recover the investment, grants included. The visit and the quote are done by Joaquín or Juan in person, free and with no obligation.
Common questions
It depends on your consumption, the size of the installation and the grants you can apply for, so the honest thing is to work it out for your case. In Mallorca, with the hours of sun we get and the grants currently open, the investment usually pays back within a reasonable time. We give you the exact figure in the free study.
During the day you use your own energy directly. What you generate and don't use is credited on your bill through surplus compensation. To make the most of it at night as well, you add a battery, which stores the day's spare energy to use later. Whether a battery is worth it for you, we work out from your consumption.
Mallorca is one of the sunniest areas in Spain, so a self-consumption installation makes the most of every panel. The more you use during the day, the more you get out of it. We size it to produce exactly what you really need, no more and no less.
If your consumption is mostly in the evening and at night, you can shift part of it to the sunny hours (washing machine, heat pump, charging the electric car) or add a battery. In the study we look at your consumption curve and tell you what really suits you, without overselling.
